A Dominica IBC is restricted from conducting business with residents of The Commonwealth of Dominica or to own real estate in Dominica. There is also a restriction on conducting business in banking, trusts, insurance or to provide company management services without the appropriate license being granted. Dominica IBC’s may make and maintain deposits, engage professional services in Dominica.  They may also hold shares, debt obligations or other securities in a company owned by a resident, locally registered company or one incorporated through the Local Companies Act.

The Commonwealth of Dominica offers a very simple and fast incorporation. A few of the requirements are the Name of the company to be incorporated, a physical address, certified copies of valid passports or national ID cards, such as those issued in the European Union. These need to be certified by either a Notary Public, Bank or by the issuing country’s Embassy. A Police Clearance Certificate is also be required.
